The Hague Conference on Private International Law is indeed a world forum of international legal unification: 74 states all over the world and the European Union are Member States of the Hague Conference. The work within the framework of that organization has been carried out more than one hundred years, yielding lots of fruits as various conventions concerning judicial and administrative cooperation, international contracts and family law were adopted. Among these acts the documents regulating the questions of judicial cooperation between states are of particular high importance, such as Convention of 1954 on civil procedure, Convention of 1965 on the Service Abroad of Judicial and Extrajudicial Documents in Civil or Commercial Matters, Convention of 1970 on the Taking of Evidence Abroad in Civil or Commercial Matters and Convention of 2005 on Choice of Court Agreements icpdf.
